Our Mission

To provide high quality direct primary care practice and “improve the health outcomes of the unreached and unserved” people of Colorado City, Mitchell County and its adjacent, neighboring counties, in this region of rural West Texas.

Our Team

With over 75 years experience between our current 3 primary providers, we knew that we needed to address the whole person, family, community, and system by teaching the costs involved that coincide with the knowledge our patients and families need to take better care of themselves. Our practice provides a well-rounded approach and strives to provide overall health & wellness with an emphasis on proactivity and prevention. We are a family practice clinic that provides complete Pediatric, Men’s & Women’s Integrative Health Care. We are passionate about understanding your current health status and designing a health plan that treats the WHOLE person and not just symptoms.

You

The Direct Primary Care practice model places greater responsibility on patients to know their medical insurance inside and out. They must also become the liaison between their direct primary care physician or practice and their insurance plans.

Us

Direct Primary Care is about focusing our attention, time, and effort on caring for our patients - directly, without oversight from nonmedical administrators, using evidence-based guidelines individualized for the circumstances of each patient.

WHY

Direct Primary Care allows family physicians to care for the whole person while reducing the overhead and negative incentives associated with fee-for-service third-party-payer billing.

Our Beliefs

We believe that healthcare can and should be done affordably. As Medical professionals that have practiced in traditional settings, we can see that the majority of illnesses in the United States are either preventable or treatable through more affordable means. Knowing that such an approach would be both empowering and affordable for patients, while also being more sustainable for our economy and our healthcare system.

Making HEALTHCARE AFFORDABLE

Want to Take control of healhcare costs?

The next time you have a tough decision to make as a patient, we encourage you to make it clear to us, your healthcare providers, that no decision will be made until you know what you need to know. Ask the tough questions. Unless the consumers of healthcare bring their common sense, curiosity and clout to healthcare, there is no hope for better care and better outcomes in the future – just more of the same.
